Role

Our Client has a requirement for a HSE Advisor, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Cumbria. 

Role Purpose:

  • To advise and support the project team on their specific HSE duties, and provide guidance, monitoring and reporting on compliance with these responsibilities. The role holder will be expected to support the project on week days, with occasional weekend working required.

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining current competency through CPD.
  • To give competent advice and support when required.
  • To challenge at all times any unsafe act, behaviour or conditions, by any person, observed or reported.
  • To ensure that management, supervision and the workforce, including those of subcontractors, actively and proactively fulfil their personal HSE responsibilities and obligations.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Member of IOSH (Technical). 
  • Experience as a Safety Advisor on large multi-disciplined construction / commissioning projects. 
  • Sellafield Site or nuclear experience preferred.
